Mr. Ragner has extensive court room and jury trial experience, having successfully tried a number of cases before the court and juries during the course of his career. He has also argued two cases before the Fifth District Court of Appeals, including In re Jenkins (2004 WL 1152853), which the Court of Appeals ultimately reversed in favor of his client and established new legal boundaries in the area of domestic violence law. Mr. Ragner's practice now revolves primarily around product liability defense and other types of complex litigation: alleged chemical exposure, defects in medical devices, and industrial accidents/explosions. Mr. Ragner assists in the defense of many of the largest corporations in the world, including those in the oil, gas, chemical, steel and medical device industries. In this capacity, he primarily defends cases involving alleged workplace exposure to benzene, vinyl chloride, asbestos and other chemicals/substances as well as other miscellaneous product liability matters.
