Skilled Counsel In Divorce And Family Law

Family is something that most people truly cherish. When a family is broken through divorce or other legal dispute, the emotions can range from hurt and a sense of loss to anger and frustration or, for some, relief. Divorce brings with it many issues which must be resolved either by agreement of the spouses or by a decision by a family court judge: Where will the children live? How will a couple divide the pension benefits? How much child support will be paid? Who will get to stay in the house?

At Hanna Rasnick Evanchan Palmisano Hobson & Fox, LLC, our lawyers are experienced in skillfully guiding clients through these sensitive matters. Our commitment lies with our clients and their goals in resolving family law disputes. Give us a call today at 330-253-2227 to discuss your unique situation.

Should You Use Mediation?

In Summit County, Ohio, any family dispute involving children must first proceed through mandatory mediation. This allows the parents to come together in an attempt to resolve issues such as child custody, visitation/parenting time and other disputes. Other issues, such as property division may also be resolved through divorce mediation.

While other Ohio counties do not have this mediation requirement, attorneys at our firm are capable of advising clients who wish to explore an amicable resolution through mediation or negotiation.

Protecting Your Interests During Divorce Litigation

When a family dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, or it is not in our client’s interests to settle issues through mediation, the case will proceed to trial. Our divorce lawyers have exceptional trial skills. We advocate for our clients’ interests in litigation on issues ranging from child custody and child support to asset division and alimony (spousal support).

Adoption, Prenuptial Agreements, Domestic Violence, Juvenile Law

In addition to divorce and related family law matters, our family practice includes efficient representation in matters involving adoption, prenuptial agreements/postnuptial agreements, domestic violence and juvenile law. Attorney Roe Fox is a former magistrate in juvenile court matters in Ohio. Many clients are comforted knowing that our lawyers are able to gain from his insight and experience handling such matters from a judge’s perspective.

Our Akron law firm is known for our commitment to examining each detail of a case and striving to achieve a resolution that preserves our client’s interests. We handle each case with the utmost professionalism and integrity. To arrange a consultation with a skilled and compassionate lawyer at our firm, give us a call or complete our online form.
